Good Morning,

Monday is here, and alas, after record-breaking spree of inaugurations by the Prime Minister, some put it as much as 157, the Election Commission, which had gone into a shell of some sort, announced the election dates and they are so ridiculous that one doesn’t even want to ask questions anymore. Matlab, how many questions can one ask anyway? When asking questions is itself becoming a crime. But the dates are here. We have 30 days to go for elections. Co-incidentally it was also the day that the last of the functions of India’s richest man’s son marriage got over. What timing, I say.

ON BOYCOTTING SURF EXCEL AND VOTING IN THE HEAT OF RAMZAAN

It is 11th March, with 30 days to go to the election, the model code of conduct has been applied, but there are no models here and therefore to expect good conduct is really just stupid. As stupid as people taking offence to a Surf Excel ad, we all know who these people are. Just wondering, if by chance P&G also decides to promote unity, how will bhakts even wash their clothes? While we are on Surf Excel, an ad that promotes unity and more than that empathy and understanding, which the Muslims have given up on, not just from their fellow citizens of the majority religion, but also the institutions in India. Otherwise, imagine the cry that would have come out when you expect 31% of voters in West Bengal who are Muslims to go stand in a line in the May heat to cast their vote that too empty stomach, because of Ramzaans. So its all cool to rage about Boycott calls on Surf Excel, but for a second understand the deep designs of undemocratizing the country, where the only blots that we carry is deep bhakti to politicians.

THE SPIRITUALIST THAT JUSTIFIED RIOTS IS NOW A MEDIATOR ON BABRI-AYODHYA MANDIR DISPUTE

Speaking of bhakts, stains, etc, well the strangest thing happened, okay no true, stranger things have happened, but this one too takes the Double Cup, because Double Sri, the man who destroyed the Yamuna plains, who threatened that if Babri Masjid land was not given to Hindus as Ayodhya Mandir, there will be riots and blood, oh so spiritual, but the irony is that the Supreme Court has made this fake spiritualist, anti-Muslim , hate mongerer, a mediator. Did the Supreme Court hear Meditation instead of Mediation, is a question a lot of people have asked? My question is, what is his credential or claim to fame?
Meanwhile, another spiritual leader, Jaggi Vasudev, was busy cooking up an extremely twisted definition of Democracy, so twisted that all of Ramdev’s asanas won’t be able to compete. Do google it, if you get the time.

90 CRORE PEOPLE TO CAST VOTE, THAT’S EUROPE & RUSSIA PUT TOGETHER: SOME FACTS & QUESTIONS

Coming back to the dates, because the damn mind can’t keep asking questions. Looks like Election Commission is also picked up the fever of record-setting. The biggest electoral exercise in the world – the Indian general elections – just got even bigger. On Sunday Chief Election Commissioner, Sunil Arora announced the schedule of polls to elect members of the 17th Lok Sabha.

Beating the record for longest elections in India, the last general polls that were spread over 35 days, voting in the upcoming polls will start from April 11 and end on May 19 — an exercise lasting 38 days.

90 crore people will vote in India, for the International audience, let me give you a perspective. You take the population of Europe in its entirety, then add to this Russia’s population, and that total will be the number of people voting in India.
For the first time ever, in a move to instil faith among millions of voters across the country, Voter-verifiable paper audit trails (VVPATs) will be used in all polling stations in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Now coming back to some questions, without being accusatory of course, that was asked by psephologist, Yogendra Yadav,

* Why Odisha in 4 phases, when AP/Tel in 1 Ph?

* Why extend WB to 7 Ph?

* If MP state poll in 1 day, why LS in 4 Ph?

* Why decouple snowbound areas of HP and Uttkd?

* Why extend Maha to 4 Ph?

* Why decouple assembly & LS polls in JK?

“FIRST TIME SINCE 1996 ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS IN J&K ARE NOT BEING HELD ON TIME. REMEMBER THIS THE NEXT TIME YOU ARE PRAISING PM MODI FOR HIS STRONG LEADERSHIP” – OMAR ABDULLAH

While Lok Sabha elections will be held in all the six constituencies in the state of Jammu & Kashmir chief election commissioner Sunil Arora said Assembly polls would not be held. He cited security considerations, in particular, those about the availability of central paramilitary forces.

In response to Election Commissions decoupling Lok Sabha & Assembly Polls, PDP leader Naeem Akhtar termed the deferment as a “murder of the democracy”, while NC’s Devender Singh Rana termed the move as a “Himalayan blunder”. Omar, the National Conference vice-president, called the decision a “failure” on Modi’s part.
“In light of the failure to conduct assembly elections on time in J&K, I’m retweeting my tweets from a few days ago. PM Modi has surrendered to Pakistan, to the militants & to the Hurriyat. Well done Modi Sahib. 56-inch chest failed. #slowclap,” he tweeted.”First time since 1996 Assembly elections in J&K is not being held on time. Remember this the next time you are praising PM Modi for his strong leadership,” Omar tweeted. No elections were held in Jammu and Kashmir for nearly seven years after Omar’s father Fa- Farooq Abdullah resigned as chief minister in early 1990 in protest against Jagmohan’s appointment as governor.
Since then, successive governments at the Centre had ensured timely Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

EXTERNAL AFFAIRS MINISTER ASKS PARTY WORKERS TO COUNTER QUESTION THOSE QUESTIONING AIR STRIKES

And in case you missed it, Nirav Modi was spotted with a hideous Ostrich jacket in London, roaming the streets, being rejected by a London Taxi, leaving the intelligence network of India shell shocked? How could it be he slipped off their radar, well, there was one person who slipped out of the intelligence radar and killed 44 CRPF Jawans, but hey, who wants to talk about that?
Not Sushma Swaraj clearly, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today indicated that her party will not shy away from making the country’s military action against Pakistan after the Pulwama terror attack an election issue, news agency PTI has reported.
“We should ask questions about whether our jawans should count the dead bodies (after dropping bombs on terror camps) or return safely after carrying out the air strike. BJP workers should counter-question those who raise doubts about the impact of our air strike,” news agency PTI quoted Ms Swaraj as saying at a gathering of BJP women workers.

SECOND NEW BOEING CRASH IN FOUR MONTHS, 157 DEAD, INCLUDING FOUR INDIANS AND 19 PEOPLE AFFILIATED WITH THE UN #ETHIOPIAN AIRLINE

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj named the Four Indians on-board the Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 passenger jet to Nairobi that was killed, after the plane crashed early on Sunday morning. A total of 157 passengers and eight crew members were killed, the airline said. It is the same model that crashed during a Lion Air flight in Indonesia in October. One of the four deceased, Ms.Shikha Garg is a Consultant with the Ministry of Environment and Forests. She was travelling to attend UNEP meeting in Nairobi. That’s a second new Boeing 737 to crash in the last four months. Aviation authorities have begun investigating how a new Boeing plane with an experienced pilot crashed minutes after takeoff from Addis Ababa on Sunday. At least 19 people affiliated with the United Nations were among those killed, according to the UN migration agency chief. The pilot said he was experiencing technical problems and asked to return to the airport. The flight tracking website Flightradar24 tweeted that the plane had unstable vertical speed after takeoff.

TRUMP READY FOR ANOTHER DATE WITH KIM

US President Donald Trump is ready to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un again for denuclearisation talks, the White House said, underlining that his decision to walk out of the Hanoi summit sent a signal to other countries as well that he is not desperate for a deal unless it is in America’s interest.

ISRAEL IS NOT A STATE OF ALL ITS CITIZENS SPELLS OUT NETANYAHU

Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israel is “not a state of all its citizens”, in a reference to the country’s Arab population.

In comments on Instagram, the prime minister went on to say all citizens, including Arabs, had equal rights, but he referred to a deeply controversial law passed last year declaring Israel the nation-state of the Jewish people.
“According to the basic nationality law we passed, Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people – and only it.”
The orgasm this statement will be happening to the Israeli fan club in Indian right wing, could be unprecedented.

That’s pretty much all that I have for you for today. We’ll be back with fresh news and our questions again tomorrow. Stay away from Selfies, as should have the woman who was attacked by a jaguar as she was apparently trying to take a selfie outside the big cat’s enclosure at Wildlife World Zoo in Arizona,

That’s all. Until tomorrow, happy kick-starting the week ahead. It’s just going to get more hot from here. Goodbye from takeapart.in
