Good Morning,

MIKA ARRESTED, SIDDHU SILENCED

Definitely, Singer Mika won’t be having one, Bollywood singer Mika Singh has been arrested in Dubai for allegedly sending objectionable pictures to a 17-year-old Brazilian model.

Also, maybe a good morning for us all including Navjot Singh Siddhu, he won’t be speaking for three days, no he is not doing an Anna Hazare, but he has strained his throat muscles after relentless campaigning and shooting off his mouth. So respite, even for Captain Amrinder Singh, unless Siddhu takes to being like Jaitley and logs into his Facebook account.

It is 7th December 2018 and Voting is underway for 119 seats in the Telangana assembly elections and 199 seats in Rajasthan. We will now just have to wait and watch what these 5 Assembly Elections will result in and what will be the twists.

BJP’S NEW TWIST ON SLAIN COP, “WAS CORRUPT AND WANTED TO HURT HINDUS”

Speaking of twists, we have a few fresh one’s for you. First up is obviously the only state where the cow gets precedence over human, not just human even a cop as UP Police has decided to investigate the killing of a cow before it ventures into investigating the murder of Inspector Subodh. That’s the least twisted thing, but there is nothing more twisted than a bajrangis brain it seems. Now they are out to malign the Inspectors image, because, he was trying to do his duty and help Dadri lynch victim get justice.
After prime accused in the Bulandshahr mob violence, Yogesh Raj, released his video from hiding on Wednesday, BJP Yuva Morcha leader Shikhar Agarwal, booked in the same case released his video from an undisclosed location on Thursday morning.

In the clip, he has claimed

“Everybody in the area knows how corrupt the SHO was. He had joined with the Muslim community and wanted to hurt Hindu sentiments. He had said that he will shoot me if I don’t bury the carcasses in the fields or try to take it in front of people.”

Interestingly, the narratives of Yogesh Raj and Shikhar Agarwal are similar. Both claim that they were inside the police station when the violence erupted. Bulandshahr police, however, said they had seen both the accused at the site of violence.

Also, none of them in their videos have said that they saw the carcasses first. Both claim they received calls from people who spotted the dead meat. The mention of who they received calls from has not been made.

The claim, however, contradicts the statement to police given by Yogesh as he had said that he was roaming in the fields at 9am on Monday when he saw seven Muslims slaughtering cows. Based on his complaint, seven Muslims, including two boys aged 11 and 12, were booked.

You might think we are stretching the issue, but no, this seems like a political murder and even if he died by accident on the day of the communal riot, the bullet that hit him was fired long before. Subodh Kumar Singh, had angered local BJP functionaries who wrote to their MP in September seeking his transfer.
Grouses mentioned in the letter include “thefts, cattle theft and cow slaughter”.

Subodh’s wife and son have said he constantly received threat calls ever since he investigated, during his previous posting, the September 2015 lynching of Mohammed Akhlaque by cow vigilantes near Delhi. Subodh was transferred within weeks, and all the 17 suspects he had booked are out on bail.

NITI AYOG HAD STOPPED REVISED GDP FIGURE FROM RELEASING

That was just Twist No 1, the Second Twist is from ANITI AYOG, that propaganda commission, who hopefully someday will be exposed.

In what adds a fresh twist to the controversy over the downward revision of UPA growth data, it is now learnt that almost three years ago, the Central Statistics Office (CSO), in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, had finalised back series data for GDP following a change in the base year from 2004-05 to 2011-12.

That exercise had led to an upward revision in growth rates for the UPA years but the Niti Aayog, then under Vice Chairman Arvind Panagariya, did not allow its release.

SUPREME COURT QUESTIONS CENTRES OVERNIGHT ACTION AGAINST CBI CHIEF

Thankfully, there was no new twist in the already twisted case of the benched chief of CBI Alok Verma, who told the SC yesterday that he was a CBI Director only on Visiting Card. Yikes.

The Supreme Court on Thursday asked the Centre to explain its midnight action against CBI chief Alok Verma, underlining that the government appeared to have tolerated the feud between Alok Verma and his deputy that had been going on for months.

“This situation that prompted the Central Vigilance Commission to take the action did not happen overnight… It is not that you were forced to take a decision immediately,” Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi observed.

SC SAYS MORE PEOPLE DIE OF POTHOLES THAN TERRORISTS, GADKARI SAYS WILL BULLDOZE CONTRACTORS

Well CBI seems like the proverbial Indian roads now, full of potholes, so many that the Supreme Court expressed concern over 14,926 people being killed in accidents due to potholes on roads across the country in the last five years which the Court thought was probably more than those killed on the border or by the terrorists.”

But Nitin Gadkari, the man who succumbed to one of the political potholes dug by Jaitley & Shah on his road to Delhi had a unique solution or should we say a unique hack. Stating that roads were a country’s assets and there will be no compromise on quality, Union Minister of Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari on Thursday warned that if he found roads in a bad shape, he would run a bulldozer over the contractor concerned.

Yes, let that be digested, and no we aren’t going to be body shaming anyone, like Sharad Yadav did yesterday in a rally in Rajasthan when he fat shamed Vasundhara Raje, saying she has become too fat and needs rest.

NOW VIRAL: DOCTOR KILLS PATIENT BY USING EDIBLE SALT TO CURE CANCER

Gadkari’s diagnosis and the medicine may have some parallel with our next story

Director of Medical Sciences and Research director, Ashwini Pujahari, is in trouble for allegedly resorting to unproven therapies to treat patients. A video showing him using edible salt on a cancer-affected patient during surgery has gone viral on social media.

The Junior Doctors’ Association of VIMSAR has demanded the immediate removal of Pujahari for such unproven treatment which allegedly led to the death of the patient.

And with that let us move to our International News segment

PARIS SHUT FOR RIOTING ON SATURDAY

The Eiffel Tower in Paris is to close on Saturday amid fears of further street violence from “yellow vest” anti-government protests.

TAIWAN COPS CONDUCT RS 41,000 DNA TEST TO CATCH THIEF WHO STOLE RS 4 YOGHURT DRINK

In other news, and this is the fun part.

According to a report in BBC, a woman in Taiwan’s Taipei approached local cops after she suspected one of her 5 roommates of stealing her drink.
